Recovering, photos

Hi, the show went well. It looked beautiful, it was great to hang out with the other women in the group, and I got some nice feedback about my new painting series. The traffic could have been better but we had a pretty steady flow most of the time.

There are photos of the show iif you’d like to take a peek. They are here on my Flickr account. Hopefully I’ll have time to add more later.

I was so wiped out yesterday. Who knew sitting around chatting for three days could take so much out of you. I went to bed early Sunday and last night. I’m starting to feel a little better today. I’m off to the Gee’s Bend show at the De Young. It’s a quilt show and I need to make sketches for my drawing abstraction class. Lucky me! I’m telling you, school takes a lot of time but every bit of it is fun. well, except for the sleep deprivation part. Last night when I heard Tom come into the bedroom, I was in the middle of a dream where I was sawing and painting. I was trying to clean up all the sawdust before he came to bed. It took me a while to realize there was really no sawdust.
