Movie Review: Al Franken: God Spoke
This movie is an ass-kickingly funny and poignant documentary about the state of popular media and Al Franken’s personal transformation from comedy writer to political activist. Al uses his keen comedic talents to engage America in his passionate struggle to kick the asses of filthy, stinking, lying politicians and unscrupulous members of the media. Watching the passion at which Al takes on the challenge of educating America is enough to light a fire under the most flame retardent of couch-bound asses. The entire documentary is rivetting. It is your patriotic duty to see this movie, whether you are a lefty or a righty. It’s time for America to climb out from under it’s rock of indifference and complacency. Show us the way, Al. As the Toy Story aliens would say: You are the leeeeaaaader!
