We found the most beautiful snorkel spot in the world and then I lost my
contact lense. So we have to drive back to hilo to get me another one so
we can snorkel some more. We’ve learned some valuable hawaii travel
lessons. Here are some: bring extra contatc lenses when snorkeling,
reapply sunscreen often, bring snacks, bring dry clothes, get over the
slippery rocks before the rain comes, when they say 4 wheel drive, they
really really mean 4 wheel drive, when they say 2 wheel drive, they
mean, you *might* make it in 2 wheel drive, no swimming signs mean the
swimming is awesome, always bring mosquito repellant. Greasy gravy and
hot sun don’t mix.
