Today I set aside my other obligations and spent the day in the studio. I got very far on a new painting for the machines series and did a little art supply shopping. The next week is going to be packed with school and work (as usual) so I won’t get to finish it til the first week in april probably. I have an article due for Webmonkey by next week sometime and another paper due next week, plus a website to work on. Tired me. It was very liberating just deciding everything else had to wait a day. I finally got my ventilation systems fully functioning so I don’t have to kill off so many brain cells. Yay for brain cells.
A quick note about the group show I’m in (Delicious) at the Studio Gallery in SF. The last day of the show is April 2nd. If you haven’t gotten to see it, now’s your chance. Next week I have an opening on the 1st in North Beach so the last week of that show and the first day of the new show overlap. So go see some food art this weekend, then come see me at the opening next weekend. More info in a day or two.
