Yesterday I noticed I had a bug bite on my hand. I figured it was a mosquito bite. Last night at about 3 a.m., it burned and itched enough to keep me awake. The bite was on the first knuckle and my finger was swollen to the second knuckle. I started to worry it was a brown recluse bite or something. They are fairly common around the San Jose area, although the bites are not. I decided to get out of bed and search the internet. BAD idea! Really bad idea. Check out what I saw…. and by the way, the bite is fine. it’s just a regular old itchy bug bite.
