Thomas Kinkade is like the Paris Hilton of the art world. Everyone hates him and no one can stop talking about him. The recent issue of ArtNews has an article entitled: The Pursuit of Sappiness” and it’s all about Mr. Kinkade and his empire of “art.” Thanks ArtNews! I’ve only seen about 50 articles in the last couple of years but I’m sure yours is *totally* going to enlighten me in ways I could have never imagined. Is there really so little else going on in the art world? Pah-leez. I wish I had subscribed to a real magazine with decent writers. Your boring, uncreative articles make me so cranky.
