I met my doppelganger today and it was really fun. It all started out when I found a link to this site on Loobylu. Yes, I was procrastinating. I was totally blown away and my curiosity peaked, I needed to find out more. I ended up on her site and discovered that along with giant sock monkeys, she also seems to enjoy pirates, bunnies, octopus and weiner dogs, penguins, funny sketches, and indie music. Among her favorite movies are Pirates of the Carribbean and Amalie. She even likes David Sedaris. She’s a designer, illustrator, and painter.
Two things that gave it away were this pirate painting and this penguin drawing.
Ohhhhh, I almost forgot a biggie. She likes socks. Socks of all kinds of patterns and colors. I wonder what she’d say if she found out I have pig socks, monkey socks, cow socks, powerpuff girl socks, frog socks with green toes, ladybug socks, socks with insects on them, striped socks, christmas socks, easter socks. Silly Socks! I can’t get enough of them!
So that was pretty cool. Maybe I have a new penpal now. Maybe we are too similar and we should stay away from each other. It could get confusing. More than one me seems like a whole lot. I hope she doesn’t mind me sending people to her website. Hi Doppelganger!
